Hi friends! Today I am going to explain Memory and Conditioning! Are you ready to embark on this fun adventure? Let's go!
According to Ivan Pavlov, there are three types of Conditioning. Classical, Modeling, and Operant. Classical conditioning is used to control a person's response so that an old response becomes attached to a new stimulus!

Let's try it! Each time I feed my dog Poncho, I'm gonna ring a bell. Let's see what happens.

Poncho learned that when the bell rings, it means that I will feed him. After a couple of times, he started salivating when he heard the bell ring, even before he saw or smelled the food!

The bell is the neutral stimulus. The unconditional stimulus would be the food. The dog's reaction to the food would be the unconditional response. After the food is associated with the bell, the bell would become the conditional stimulus, and the salivation would become the conditional response.

Good job buddy!

Now let's talk about Operant and Modeling conditioning! Operant is a method of learning that occurs through rewards and punishments for behavior, discovered by B.F Skinner. Let's see how that works!

Two principal terms influence operant conditioning:
a. Reinforcements (Positive or Negative): Increase the rate of behavior.
b. Punishments ( Positive or Negative): Decrease the rate of behavior.
For example, A student tends to complete his/her homework daily; because he/she knows that he/she will be rewarded with a candy (action) or praise (behavior).
