One day, a young girl named Arya went with her grandmother to the candy store in India. 

When Arya's Grandmother's back was turned, Arya jumped on the counter and started eating all of the candy!

What Arya didn't know was that her grandmother saw her taking the candy. 

Arya, I saw what you did with the candy in that candy store. Do you know that if you don't fulfill your dharma, that your kharma will catch up with you. You won't ever reach Moksha if you don't change. 

What do you mean Grandma? What are those things you are even talking about? 

Well, here in India, we believe in Hinduism. The ultimate goal of our faith is to reach liberation, or Moksha. The only way to do that is to fulfill your dharma and have good kharma, if not you will be reincarnated. 

Dharma is the moral responsibilites you must live by. Kharma is the good or bad actions that you perform coming back to your. So you stealing candy goes against your Dharma and gives you bad kharma. Meaning something bad will come your way. If not in this life, then when you are reincarnated into another Caste level or life form. 

Why wouldn't someone want to live another life? What is so great about liberation? 

If you reach liberation you are one with Brahman, our Deity. This is the ultimate goal according to our texts such as the Vedas, Upanishads, or the Bhagavad Gita.
