I am one of the most famous Irish legends. People say that I am a type of Faerie, but I am also a cobbeir, I make the shoes of other Faerie Folk. I used to wear in red but now people talk about me as an old bearded man wearing green.

Oh no! The Danes are coming! I must hide the treasure from them!
Legend tells that when the Danes invaded Ireland, the Faeries hid all their treasure from the marauding hordes. The Leprechauns were given the task of guarding the treasure, so they must constantly be moving the trove.

If you manage to find me, I will either give you the treasure or grant you three wishes!

They needed to find a place to hide the treasure, and with the climate in Ireland and plenty of rain, rainbows are plentiful!

However, leprechauns aren't just famous for their pot of gold and colorful hiding places...

Leprechauns are also known for being tricksters. They deceive humans and some even believe that they hide their gold simply in order to lure in the unsuspecting and when granting their captors three wishes, they mislead them.

There is something fishy going on in here...
You found me. You can keep my pot of gold or I can grant you three wishes...
