When having a baby there are many ways you can go about the birth, such as OBGYN, midwifes, home births, and hospital births. Both midwives and OB GYN doctors can deliver babies but Midwives do it where and how the mother wants but and OB GYN will do it the regular way in a hospital. A midwife gives specific help to birthing and preparing for labor but OB GYNs are more broad and stick strictly to medical practices.

Costs of a Baby
Having a Baby comes with many expenses. You have to buy all the necessities of a nursery, lots of diapers, clothes, food, stuff for the baby's safety, ETC. None of theses things are cheap and they all add up. Designing a nursery itself is super expensive. You have to buy a crib, a mattress, a changing station, toys, blankets, a rocking chair, a dresser and more. the cost could be as little as $1,300.

Labor and delivery
Labor is the process of the mother giving birth. The time labor takes can vary but the average for a first baby is between 12-14 hours. When your going into labor you will have lots of contractions and your water may break. There are 3 stages of labor; contractions and the cervix dilating, the birth of the baby, and the after birth of the placenta.
