What is homeostasis? Well homeostasis is the ability to maintain a relatively stable internal state that persists despite changes in the world outside.

For example, lets say dirt got in your eye, you eyes would water up and help pushes it out while your eyelid would close your eyes so more dirt wouldn't get in.
