project on different types of lines

What is point ?
A point has no size or shape just an exact location.

What is line ?
A line is a straight path of points that extend in opposite directions without ending.

What is line segment ?
A line segment is a part of a line between two end points. We can measure the length of a segment but not of a line

What is ray ?
A ray is a part of a line which has one end points and extends forever in one direction without ending. We cannot measure the length of a ray.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF LINES--
1) INTERSECTING LINES- When two lines that meet or cross each other are called intersecting lines.

2) PARALLEL LINES- When two or more lines stay at the same distance from each other at all the points then these lines are called the parallel lines. Parallel lines never intersect each other.

3) PERPENDICULAR LINES- When two lines intersect each other at right angle of (90) then these lines are called perpendicular lines.
