Chapter 1

Let's go back several years.
   Lia was sitting on her bed. She had a short skirt on and a long sweater on. While she was sitting there she was drawing her dream dog. She looked around and saw the big window in her room. The sun looked like a big ball of hope. Unfortunately that hope didn’t last long.

    Lia asked her parents for a dog when she was 6. Her parents said no but she kept dreaming. Lia begged and begged but her parents said no whenever she asked. Now here she is 7 years later. 

     "What if I work for my dog?" she asked her friends. 

    "That is how I got my dog," said Katherine.

     Lia was determined now to work to get a dog!

                                   Chapter 2

   The next afternoon she looked for places to work or volunter.

     "I don't  know if my parents will be ok with me working to get a dog" Lia thought

       "Lia time for dinner!" called her mom

       Lia replied with"ok coming!". 

       She put her laptop down and went to eat.

       "Hi! Lia" her friends called

       "Hello" Lia replied
