Monday

I’m Nizar. My family and I live on a farm in a remote village in the UK. After school, I usually have a walk in a nearby forest because I love the sights, the sounds and of course the fresh air. This afternoon, I was playing Fetch with my dog, Rex, when it suddenly started barking. From behind the trees, I could see a scared boy. 'Rex, stop! Come here!' I told my pet. I was about to say sorry to the boy, but he just disappeared into nature!

Tuesday

It’s cloudy today, so Rex and I were walking fast. Suddenly, it started raining heavily. As I was running to seek shelter under a big tree, I fell and got covered in mud. How dirty! Then, I could feel a hand helping me stand up. It was the same boy I had met yesterday!

'I haven’t seen you at school. Do you live near here?' I asked.

'No, I’m from Manchester,' he said. 'Sorry! I have to go. Do you need help now?'

'No, I’m fine. Thanks!' I said and the boy walked away.

'I’m Nizar,' I called. 'What’s your name?' He didn’t reply.
