keep trying, no matter how many times you fall.

It was Christmas morning when Santa Claus brought Loyman a new bike.

Any child would be excited to get a new bike from Santa Claus, however, Loyman did not know how to ride a bike.

Loyman went to the park with his dad to try to ride his bike. Loyman did not understand why he kept falling off of the bike.

I hate riding my bike! I never want to try it again!
Loyman was so upset. After one day of trying to learn how to ride his bike, Loyman was ready to give up. His dad said, "Maybe we can try again tomorrow?"

Loyman sat in his room upset for the rest of the evening. His dad went to check on him. He asked Loyman why he was upset. Loyman replied, "I will never be able to ride my bike."

Loyman's dad affirmed, "Whether you think you can or can't, you are right. You will not be able to do something with a bad attitude. You have to want to learn and keep trying until you are successful."

The next morning, Loyman woke up early and thought about what his dad had told him. "Maybe he is right," he thought, "I should keep trying if I ever want to learn how to ride my bike."

Loyman waited patiently on the front porch for his dad to come home from work.
