A nineteen year old girl named Rosetta goes into the forest as a dare but gets lost and can't find her way home. She meets a fairy named Ruby who helps her seek permission from the queen to open a force field. However, the queen denies their request and throws Ruby in prison. Rosetta and Ruby escape and discover that Rosetta's friend Lizzy is an evil fairy planning to take over the city. They confront Lizzy and save the city, with Rosetta becoming the new mayor.
