What is Malware,Aleksandra?

Is any software designed to cause damage to a computer?I am not sure.Let's search together with our great team.

First,We prepared a survey in order to learn our team's opinions and suggestions.They wanted to prepare international webinars and learned everything about it.Then,They started to prepare their slogans,posters and animations.

After the survey,brainstorming activities started.Wordart works and posters prepared by our students.

We held our first webinar prepared by Vukasin from ITHS.We were excited to learn a great deal of information about Malware.

Our team members from different schools prepared their slogans and we combined them with an infographic chart.

Second webinar prepared by our team members Adrian and Kosta.

We always discussed the tasks and communicate via what's up and write our comments on forum Malware page.

We are so happy to work with a great team and learn new things about Malware together.

Social engineering

1. What is an example of social engineering?

Common social engineering attacks include: Baiting: A type of social engineering where an attacker leaves a physical device infected with a type of malware in a place it will be found, e.g. a USB. The victim inserts the USB into their computer and unintentionally infects the computer with malicious software.Aug 5, 2020

2. What are the 5 types of social engineering?

These are phishing, pretexting, baiting, quid pro quo and tailgating.

Social engineering examples

1. On the phone
A social engineer might call and pretend to be a fellow employee or a trusted outside authority (such as law enforcement or an auditor).

2. In the office
"Can you hold the door for me? I don't have my key/access card on me." How often have you heard that in your building? While the person asking may not seem suspicious, this is a very common tactic used by social engineers.

3. Online
Social networking sites have made social engineering attacks easier to conduct. Today's attackers can go to sites like LinkedIn and find all of the users that work at a company and gather plenty of detailed information that can be used to further an attack.

Measures against social engineering

Password policies:

1.Change password periodically.

2. Avoiding predictable passwords.

3. Blocking an account after unsuccessful attempts.

4. Using complex and long passwords.

5. Keep passwords secret.

We started with forming a Whatsapp group for teachers         and the students at the Cyberbullying Team.

We added parents to Forum and we shared tips , videos in English, Turkish and Italian .

Parents commented on the forum actively

We started preparations for the poster and Brochure , all the students wrote their suggestions on the Jamboard.
