Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth's climate.

Climate change is any significant long-term change in the weather of a region (or the whole Earth) over a significant period of time.
Climate change is about abnormal variations to the climate, and the effects of these variations on other parts of the Earth.

Many people think of global warming and climate change as synonyms, but scientists prefer to use “climate change” when describing the complex shifts now affecting our planet’s weather and climate systems. Climate change encompasses not only rising average temperatures but also extreme weather events, shifting wildlife populations and habitats, rising seas, and a range of other impacts. All of these changes are emerging as humans continue to add heat-trapping greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.
Team 3: What are the effects of Global Warming and Climate Change?

Climate change covers not only rising average temperatures, but also extreme weather events, changing wildlife populations and habitats, rising seas, and other variables. All of these conditions occur as people continue to add greenhouse gases that capture heat into the atmosphere.
Heat waves, defined as the excessive temperature exposure, have the power to create destructive effects on the infrastructure of human health and bio-physical systems. As the effect of temperature increase (global warming) on people; Examples of the worsening of chronic health conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, kidney and respiratory diseases, diabetes and nervous system disorders. At the same time, drought in the countryside, melting glaciers and rising sea levels are among the most important effects of climate change and global warming.

Team 4: What are the results of Global Warming and Climate Change?
Team leader: Birsen Erdoğan / Kadir Has Anatolian High School

Eight degrees Fahrenheit. It may not sound like much—perhaps the difference between wearing a sweater and not wearing one on an early-spring day. But for the world in which we live, which climate experts project will be at least eight degrees warmer by 2100 should global emissions continue on their current path, this small rise will have grave consequences, ones that are already becoming apparent, for every ecosystem and living thing—including us.
Consequences Of Climate Change:
1-Extreme weather events
2-Ice melt
3-Sea levels and ocean acidification
4-Some Plants and animals are is danger
5-Social effects
According to the National Climate Assessment, human influences are the number one cause of global warming, especially the carbon pollution we cause by burning fossil fuels and the pollution-capturing we prevent by destroying forests. The carbon dioxide, methane, soot, and other pollutants we release into the atmosphere act like a blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm. Evidence shows that 2000 to 2009 was hotter than any other decade in at least the past 1,300 years. This warming is altering the earth's climate system, including its land, atmosphere, oceans, and ice, in far-reaching ways.
