This story is for the purpose of our subject 2S-SOCX01, Elective 1, which is about Values Education under our course professor Ma'am Ma. Elvira A. Asuan; furthermore this story is also for the benefit of my classmates in Social Science section III-8, peers, colleagues, and other constituents who may find reading this short story beneficial or entertaining in one way or another.

A week has passed this April 2021, and thankfully nothing has changed. I am still Robert Stephen Co, your average student of III-8 BSSE and I would love to share to everyone who will be reading this short journal, my personal hobby ever since I was an elementary student, and then became this week's big decision. I hope you enjoy reading my short story on how Hypothetical Imperatives and quizzing make me enjoy school ever since.

It all began on the first week of April when an aspirant of the PNU Chess team recruited members for the European Union (EU) Online Trivia Competition in our group chat. It was an invitation from one the Social Science professors coming from the European Union Embassy in the Philippines to celebrate Europe Day this May. Upon the pretense that I love quizzes and extra-curricular activities in general, without hesitation, I joined even though I do not have a lot of knowledge regarding related matters to EU.

I may say that extra-curricular activities save me from the monotony of daily school life, and my desire for being a teacher becomes my hypothetical imperative for being willing to design and initiate engaging lessons that not only impart knowledge but also help children enjoy their school life contrary to how it was stressful for others who were burdened upon the hypothetical imperative, that if they study they get high grades and get a good job, which is totally the opposite of me.
