This story is for the purpose of our subject 2S-SOCX01, Elective 1, which is about Values Education under our course professor Ma'am Ma. Elvira A. Asuan; furthermore this story is also for the benefit of my classmates in Social Science section III-8, peers, colleagues, and other constituents who may find reading this short story beneficial or entertaining in one way or another.

Hello! Robert Stephen Co here, and this week I will be telling all of you about a sad encounter that we had because of our failure to defend our own research and how I connect it to the phrase "Que sera sera" which is a famous song from the film The Man Who Knew Too Much, sang by Doris Day. Furthermore, it is also a story of how determinism may have played an impactful role in the gloomy events that happened within this week.

For two terms, we have been conducting meetings and interviews to fulfill little by little the requirements needed for our research course. However, there were problems and conflicts that I cannot say here because of complications that I do not want to confront right now. Nevertheless, me and my groupmates are always doing our part for this research yet we were not that compatible with the subject itself.

So then, little by little we prepared our paper, revised the parts necessary for improvement tried to gather our thoughts and make sense of the paper that we have made since our final defense would be on April 6 at 2:00 in the afternoon. In the end, there were last minute comments and revisions that were given to us, which we were not able to fully discuss and reflect on.

If I may say, everything felt off, it is as if our preparations were not that good and our paper really lacked substance. I believe that there are actions that we have taken which do not align with what is standard for research, I felt hesitant but every preparation and action done by our team is already in the past, and there is nothing we can do about it, thus que sera sera.
