L’Earth Day è una manifestazione internazionale per la sostenibilità e la salvaguardia ambientale. 

La Giornata Mondiale della Terra è nata il 22 aprile 1970.

Earth Day is an international event for sustainability and environmental protection. 

World Earth Day was born on April 22nd 1970.

Ogni anno l’evento dell’Earth Day vede la partecipazione di molte persone, unite dallo stesso obiettivo: proteggere il pianeta.

Earth Day event sees the participation of many people, together for the same goal: to protect the planet.

Quest’anno la programmazione degli eventi risente del lockdown generale dovuto all’emergenza Coronavirus, ma sono tante le iniziative previste in questa Giornata nata con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sui problemi dell’ecosistema legati ai cambiamenti climatici e allo sfruttamento dell’uomo.

This year the programming of events is affected by the general lockdown due to the Coronavirus emergency, but there are a lot of events planned for this Day. All born with the aim of raising public awareness on ecosystem problems related to climate change and the exploitation of man.

E l’Italia non fa certo eccezione.  

Noi alunni della II B della Scuola Secondaria “J. F. Kennedy” di Cusano Mutri, BN Italia  abbiamo  dedicato alcune poesie alla nostra "Terra preziosa".

And Italy is not an exception.

Students from class  II B of   “J. F. Kennedy” Secondary school in  Cusano Mutri, BN Italy wants to dedicate  some poems to the Earth.

magnificent and maternal

place of freedom and peace,

I turn my gaze to admire you

and calmly contemplate you.

mentre la guardo i miei occhi si illuminano,
