Just in case you didn't already know, Macromolecules are big molecules made up of smaller ones. There are 4 types of macromolecules, which are lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. 

Lipids are made up of fatty acid chains. They have many functions, some are storing energy, acting as cell membranes, and acting as a messenger

Lipids can be found even in the food you eat! it can be found in fats of meat, butter, and other dairies.

Next, we have Proteins, The monomer of proteins is amino acids. Some of the functions of proteins are transporting molecules, signaling other molecules, and building tissues

Proteins can be found in meats, fish, and dairy.

After that we have Carbohydrates. Carbs can be broken down to release energy into the body.

There are 3 types of carbohydrates. Monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides.

Monosaccharides are a single sugar unit.
