This story is for the purpose of our subject 2S-SOCX01, Elective 1, which is about Values Education under our course professor Ma'am Ma. Elvira A. Asuan; furthermore this story is also for the benefit of my classmates in Social Science section III-8, peers, colleagues, and other constituents who may find reading this short story beneficial or entertaining in one way or another.

Hello, this is me, Robert Stephen Co; and I hope you can still remember my name (well maybe so, after repeating it in this journal every week). This week I would like to share with you my favorite foods which I have eaten this Sunday, May 10, 2021 and how it relates or maybe conflicts with my personal routines which I have been doing for a while now, and how the philosophy of hedonism applies to the things that I have been doing and deciding on.

So to begin with, there are a lot of health-related activities and routines that I have been doing (that I do not say publicly, yet only now), both even before the pandemic, and those that only showed up when the pandemic started. Even though it may not show easily, and because for about every few years my body type fluctuates , there are things that I physically commit to, making sure that I do not get unfit to prevent me from doing things that I love.

While I would not reveal all of them, here are some of the examples: For almost two years until now, (May 2nd Week, 2021), I have never eaten rice, and gotten used to it for so long. During the pandemic, I weighted more than 80 kilos by the start of 2021, and because of my daily exercise for the past three months or so, I am now at about 70 kilos which was still above my average weight, though it is a good progress considering that I never travel like before, and I sit all day at my room looking at my laptop.

Well, just this Sunday, I just ate two of my favorite foods which are French Fries and Ice Cream, and while they reek of sugar, calories, and all unhealthy substances, I feel really good when eating them, and I feel like I would never get tired eating them along with other sweets and snacks that I really enjoy eating even though I am fully aware of the dangers that they may entail.
