What is polio? 

 Poliomyelitis is a viral infection caused by Polio virus. It largely affects children under 5 years. it is most common in Afghanistan . in Afghanistan and Pakistan there are still some cases of the virus.   The virus can cause 

-fever 

-headache 

- sore throat

- and in sever cases causes paralysis 

Symptoms of polio

Some symptoms of polio can include 

-fever 

-headache

-stiffness in the neck 

- and pain in the limbs 

Polio is very contagious it travels through person to person transmission it enters through the mouth  and spreads through contact of the feces of an infected person it also multiplies in the intestines.

How bad really is polio? 

Polio is a pretty sever virus that lead-to the death of many children around the world. Some people that get polio can get the non paralytic type which can lead to just flue like symptoms like fever sore throat and headache. but other who get polio can develop paralysis this is very dangerous and often leads to death if untreated because it can paralyze the muscles that help you breath
