Hi there, I'm Cleo and I have just started year 8. Starting my second year of high school is very fun and exciting because I have some friends I know that are in my class and I have just known this year is gonna be the best. Look at my uniform I love it and it’s perfect for winter.

It was mid-year of high school already, the 2 terms have gone quite quick but I didn't as enjoy it. Being in a class of people who were Instagram models was hard overall since I had a fat body and the boys would compare me with them. I didn't care at first but as weeks pass by it started to go into me and I had this illusion that I shouldn't open up as much because people are gonna make fun of me for how I sleep, eat, and who my friends were. I had very low self-esteem and decided to go on a diet and get that dream body I have always wanted.

Ever since that I have been dieting, starving myself, and losing heaps of weight. I have finally achieved my dream body. But that wasn’t enough I wanted to look thinner because I still am i bit chubby where my arms are and people are for sure going to make fun of me if they see this.

Eating disorders affect at least 9% of the population worldwide. 9% of the U.S. population, or 28.8 million Americans, will have an eating disorder in their lifetime. The increasing rate of eating disorders is mostly from Japan because they have the highest rate of prevalence, followed by Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Having an eating disorder can mess around with your mental health also because you will think differently than how you actually are e.g. you are 35kg but in your opinion that weight is too much and it's still not accepted in your explanations. There are 3 types of eating disorders which are:
- Anorexia nervosa is characterized by weight loss or maintenance by extreme dieting, starvation, or too much exercise.
- Binge eating, which means frequently consume an unusually large amount of food in one sitting.
- Bulimia Nervosa is symptoms that include purging, taking laxatives, exercising, or fasting to avoid weight gain after binge eating.
