Once upon a time, Ms. Fink was a little girl who 

loved to read.  

Everyday after school, her parents would shut 

off the television and make her and her three 

sisters sit down and read a book. 

They would spend hours at the library with 

their summer reading lists, trying to find that 

special book. 

One day Ms. Fink decided that she loved reading 

so much, that she wanted to teach other kids to 

love reading as much as her. 

So, when she grew up she wanted to become an 

English teacher. 

Throughout her studies, she decided on a 

reading minor as well so she could learn all 

kinds of ways to teach children to love reading. 

The course Children's Literature was a part of 

this course of study. 

Ms. Fink is the kind of reader who gets 

completely involved in the story. Sometimes, 

she gets so lost in the story she feels as if she 

were a character in the background. 

She shows children the great adventures in 

books. She asks her students all kinds of 

questions to see what they like and don't like. 

Then she tries her very hardest to find them 

the perfect story for them to get lost in. 

Ms. Fink's favorite book is so hard for her to 

choose. She loves almost all of them, but if 

she had to choose.......

it would be......

However, if you were to ask her what her 

favorite author is, she wouldn't be able to pick 

just one. 

She has so many favorites, Caroline B. 

Cooney, Robert Frost, Kate Chopin, F. Scott 

Fitzgerald, Joseph Conrad, J.K. Rowling, 

Stephanie Meyer, Sherman Alexie, her list 

could go on and on and on.
