I want to share something about myself. Wherever I go, I always follow the rules and feel terrible if I violated them. I can trace this characteristic of mine way back when I was in elementary school. It started when my teacher told me to do not to litter anywhere. It might sound cute and boring, but this changed how I act on most of my life decisions. 

    From that, I always decide to depend on what is right and just. It is hard for me to ignore these things because it makes me sick and awake all night. 

    Maybe I can relate this characteristic to an ethical theory called Deontology. In a Nutshell, Kant defined deontology as an act of following rules to achieve ethical conduct rather than just attaining the right results.

    I adhere to this to make myself feel good; I do this because it is right and just. We are not the center of the universe; that`s why we need to consider the well-being of other individuals in our acts.
