Once upon a time, there lived a red seahorse
named Skipper. Skipper lived at the bottom of
the ocean, and he worked as a guard for King
Nathan, the ruler of the kingdom.
Although Skipper was small, King Nathan liked
him because he was the only seahorse in the
entire kingdom. Skipper enjoyed working for the
king because the king treated him nicely.

Within King Nathan's kingdom,
there lived three different groups
of creatures: the fish, the sharks,
and the dolphins.
5

The fish were a part of the largest group
in the kingdom. They separated themselves
between the orange fish and the yellow fish.
The two colours of fish despised each other
and never interacted with fish of the other
colour. Most of the fish didn't work, because
no one wanted to hire them. So, they were
quite poor.

The sharks were the friendliest group
in the kingdom. But since many of
them were caught by the humans,
there were only a few left. The sharks
worked as palace guards in the
kingdom.

The last group were the dolphins. They worked closely
with King Nathan, and many of them were his close friends.
The dolphins didn't like the other creatures especially the
fish, because the fish didn't have jobs and were poor.
10

Although Skipper didn't fit into either of these
three categories, he spent most of his free
time with the sharks because they all worked
at the palace together.

came to visit King Nathan. It was a
puffer fish by the name of Dopey V. Frunt.

Skippy stood guard outside the King's room
and listened to the conversation between
the King and the puffer fish. He learned that
Dopey V. Frunt had brought money from his
kingdom, because he had heard that there
were many starving fish in King Nathan's
kingdom. King Nathan thanked him for his
kindness and the puffer fish soon left.

by saying...

I must hear their music!

said, "the money was for the fish!
Not for a concert! How could the
king do this? This can't be right!"Outside the room, Skipper heard the entire
conversation and was shocked.
