As soon as Adam put his head on his pillow, he heard a familiar song. "I remember the day I was in Yafa". It is the song of the Rahbani brothers. "Tell us, tell us about Yafa".

Adam looked around, he found himself on a fishing boat. He looked at the shore, he saw the beautiful port of Jaffa. Jaffa, a word which means beautiful, and Jaffa is beautiful. Beautiful with its streets, beautiful with its port, beautiful with its people. Jaffa, called the Bride of the sea, on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean. Jaffa, with green lands and a vast blue sea full of fishermen and lovers of the sea.

It was a lovely sunny day. The sea was calm and the fish was plentiful. The fishermen rejoiced at the fish they collected. " We shall fill Jaffa and the West Bank markets with this fish" one of the fishermen said. 

The fishermen sat down to rest. They had their lunch, then ate from the sweet, delicious, and famous Jaffa oranges. 

Night came, and with it came strong wind and raging waves. It was a strong storm. The fishermen tried with all their might to keep the boat stable and prevent it from sinking. 

The angry waves became so high and attacked the boat from all the sides. The fishermen lowered the mast and grabbed the oars. They were so frightened. They felt that they were not going to survive.
