I was seven years old when the movie Speed Racers was released. I saw the billboard of the movie outside a mall in Malate. Given that I love Cars, I pleaded to my mother to watch the movie in the theater. My mother responded with a nod, so I expected to see it in a span of a week or two. 14 years later, I saw the movie on a free tv channel dubbed in Filipino. Well, the movie was terrible, and it is like a high school project. I`m glad that my mother didn`t spend about 200 pesos for such trash. 

    So if the movie is terrible even though I didn`t see it in the theatre as my mother told me, then what is your problem, you may ask. Here`s the issue in my story: I really hate when somebody does not adhere to our promise agreement. I hate when people break their promises, I hate when people don`t show up in an agreed meeting time, and I hate the saying, "Pingakuan ka an nga gusto mo pa na matupad?". 

   See, people dedicated their time, strength, and effort to adhere to the agreement, it is very disrespectful for someone to take it lightly and ignore it for their convenience. I`m also guilty of this acts sometimes but I always make an effort to honor my word. Also yes, I understand that there are reasons to break promises or agreements, but, why make one if you are not ready to adhere to it in the first place.
