Once upon a time, under the deep blue sea, lived a shark named Monty. Monty was BIG and SCARY. No one wanted to be Monty's friend.                       

One day Monty was swimming along signing his song, "Do-do-do swimming along, singing my song, do-do-do! I hope I meet some new friend's today!" Monty had seen a school up ahead and hoped he would meet some other fish to play with. 

"Oh my!" Said the blue fish. "Look! It's a big, scary, shark. We must hide. We do not want him to eat us!" 

"Everyone, we must stay quiet and wait for him to leave. " Said Mrs. Fishbones. "SHHHHH," and she placed a fin up to her mouth.

"Do-do-do, Just swimming along, singing my song," sang Monty. 

"Hey, where did everyone go?" Cried Monty. "I just wanted to play and say hello!" Monty didn't understand why no one wanted to be his friend. 

"Mrs. Fishbone," said the blue fish, "Why can't we play with the shark?" 

"Well," said Mrs. Fishbone, "the shark is much bigger then us, his teeth are large, and his mouth is wide. He could eat us up with little effort." 

"Mrs. Fishbone, you told us we shouldn't judge people based on their looks," said the green fish "so why are we doing that to this shark?"
