Galileo Galilei
Galileo Galilei was born in the Italian city of Pisa, on February 15, 1564. He was an astronomer, engineer, philosopher, mathematician and physicist closely related to the Scientific Revolution.

His achievements include the improvement of the telescope, a wide variety of astronomical observations, the first law of motion, and decisive support for the "Copernicus Revolution." He has been considered the "father of modern astronomy" and the "father of science."

Galileo observed that all objects accelerated at the same rate regardless of their mass, something that led him to verify that forces were the cause of movement.

Observation of the planets
Thanks to his telescope, Galileo was the first to observe the craters of the moon, the sunspots, the four largest satellites of Jupiter, the phases of Venus and the imperfections of the moon.
He was also the first to reveal that in the Universe there were many stars that, despite to not being able to see them in the sky, they were there.
