Draping on cushions

What did you learn it?

I learned to drape on cushions, it is a laborious technique, and when using delicate fabrics it is difficult.

It is necessary to follow a scheme at the seam to form the folds of various sizes and depths. These seams can be made by hand or by machine, personally I only do it by hand.

When did you learn it?

It all began in the year 2014-2015, in a subject called Labor Habilitation; which seeks to help students obtain different skills throughout their career and that in the future can even serve us to work and generate money. Without realizing it, it has become something that gives me peace and tranquility when performing these techniques.

How did you learn it?

The first time I did it was in classes and it was difficult because I didn´t know very well how the whole scheme of the same measure was nor did I know how to use the needles well because at every moment I spent hurting my fingers but with patience it can be done. We have to make the attempt to achieve this.
