It all started in a town called Ghost Town. There was a little girl and a boy named Starr and Tom. They wondered why it was called Ghost Town. So they started looking for someone who could tell them about the town. They looked and looked. “Hey, look at that  abandoned school house!”

So they decided to go inside the school. Starr and Tom looked at each other. Tom said, “Should we do it? Should we go inside?” Starr replied, “Yes, we should go inside the school house to see what’s inside.”

So they went to check it out. “Did you hear that?” Tom said. “No,” Star said. what did you hear?” Tom answered, “I  heard the sound of footsteps; as if someone was walking behind us!” So they started to run.

Starr said, “should we look to see what's behind us?” So we looked. It was a small black puppy. Tom asked, “can we keep it?” Starr said, “yes, we can keep the puppy.”

“What should we name him?” Starr said, “Let’s name him Mr. Peabody.” So they went back home and their mom said,  “Hey kids,  welcome home, supper is ready. After supper,  please get your clothes out for school tomorrow.”  So they said ok. Starr and Tom went to their room,  got their clothes out for school the next day,

The next morning, when they got on the bus, they saw their friend, Silver. He asked Tom, “What are you doing after school?” Tom said, “Well, I'm going to play with my dog after school.”  

So they get back on the bus heading home. When they arrived home, Tom said, “Well, I guess we can go back to the town after we are finished playing with our dog.” With a smile on his face, Tom said, “Well, I'm done playing with Mr. Peabody.” 

 “Ok”, Starr said, “I'm going to play with him for a little bit longer then we'll go to the town.” So Starr said she was ready to go to the town and look at the stores. “We’ll take our dog to help us look for someone,” Starr said. 

Behind us, the dog barked. Looking behind them they saw a shadow of someone walking past them. They said, “Good job Mr. Peabody!” Mr. Peabody looked at Tom and Starr and smiled, wagging his tail. Then the dog smelled something suspicious. So he walked around. Tom said, “What is he doing?” he was barking.
