Today Meadow is going to the vet. The vet is a doctor that is for animals.

Lilly and her mom walk to the vet with Meadow in her cage.

When they got to the vet they had to check in with the lady at the front desk first.

Lilly and her mom then had to wait in the waiting room until they called Meadow's name. 

They didn't have to wait very long before the vet tech came out and called Meadow back. The vet tech is like a nurse but for animals.

The vet tech weighs Meadow and checks her pulse. He writes it down in Meadow's chart. He then tells them that the vet will be in soon and he leaves the room. 

Lilly and her mom now have to wait for the vet to come in to give Meadow a checkup. Meadow is happy and purring and doesn't seem scared at all. 

The vet comes in after about 5 minutes. Her name is Dr. Layson. She starts by listening to Meadow's lungs. She said that they sound really good and that her weight looks good.
