And today we are going to be learning how to Classify polynomials

polynomials what is that?

 polynomials are expressions of more than two algebraic terms, especially the sum of several terms that contain different powers of the same variable

For example 

To be able to classify polynomials you need one thing and one thing only a polynomial chart it is a chart that you can study to help with polynomials. 

one side is degree and the other side is terms

1.so if we have 3x+ 12 your highest exponent is your degree and then you will see how many terms you have.

2.So first in  your equation 3x + 12 we don't have any exponents so our degree is 0

3.And if we look at our chart the degree is 0 then it is a constant

So if we want to find out how many term we have in the equation 3x + 12 we can see that there are 2 equations 3x and 12 so we look on the other side of the chart and if we have 2 equation then it is a binomial

Because the degree is constant which we have already found out 

And the number of terms is 2 which is binomial 

3x + 12= constant binomial
