A long, long time ago in a sparkling, calm, tiny pond there peacefully lived a tiny polliwog named Tad.  Tad had a short stubby tail.  Tad had four special polliwog friends named Wiggler, Patrick, Messi, and Polli.  Their favorite things to do were play tag, play soccer, and have dance parties.  They also had fun making whirlpools, and having contests to see who could go the deepest.

One day the polliwog friends heard a splash.  They looked and saw a humongous black and gray fish with a mouth full of sharp teeth.

“Would you like to play a game with us?”  Tad nervously asked in his squeaky little voice.

“No, I don’t want to play! I want to eat you!” screamed the big scary fish.

The tiny polliwogs wiggled away from the fish and hid in a small crack in a humongous gray rock.  Scared to come out into the pond, the frightened polliwogs felt very sad they couldn’t play their favorite games.

They were all so very sad to be trapped and scared, the fish would eat them.  They were also angry they couldn’t play all of their favorite games.
