La dump, la dump, la dump! You hear that?
What is that sound? Well hello everybody ,I am
Guss , they often call blood, and since I travel
all through out your body , I am going to be
the one, who will explain to you just how you
body work ,and that "la dump" sound you hear
,it is just your heart pushing me around your
body.

Lets take a journey and travel through your
body .People often ask me, Blood, how do you
move around the body. I always tell them I
flow through your Circulatory system. Can you
say that "Circulatory system. Here's how your
circulatory system looks like.

The main parts of the circulatory system are
blood vessels and the heart. Blood vessels are
long tubes that help me travel through your
body and gets me to the places that your
bodies needs me.

Your heart is a strong muscle, that never
rests, its always working and been beating
since the day you were created. Its actually
not that big , and about the size of your
fist.Your heart is a pump that pushes blood
all through your body.

Its the hearts job to keep me , blood in motion
around the body.Blood carries fuel,nutrients
from our food ,oxygen, and also carries our
bodies waste away. Yups that me!

Now lets talk about your heart cause it not hard to
see it the most important part. Our heart powers
the circulatory system. In our circulatory systems,
our heart sends blood into two different direction
every time it pumps. To pump me or blood into
two ways at once ,the heart has two sides, and
each side has two parts or chambers on top of the
heart and bottom, for a total of four chambers.
These four chamber work as a team.

Each side of the heart has a atrium and ventricle. The
atria on both sides of the heart receive the incoming blood
first , then sent to the ventricles to be sent out. A thick
wall is in between that separates the two sides called the
septum.

The right side of the heart receive me, blood with
very little oxygen and sends it to the lungs to get rid
of carbon dioxide and pick up oxygen. Then the left
side receive me with oxygen rich blood from the
lungs and pumps it back to the body.
