Hi my name is Larry the hedgehog and today I'm gonna talk about modified food, so well it could be many disadvantages and advantages about this topic and so I hope you like it

But first what is modified food?

Transgenic foods are those that have been produced from an organism modified by genetic engineering and to which genes from another organism have been incorporated to produce the desired characteristics.

ADVANTAGES ABOUT MODIFIED FOOD

. More nutritious food

. Tastier food

. Disease- and drought-resistant plants that require fewer environmental resources

. Less use of pesticides

. Increased supply of food with reduced cost and longer shelf life

. Faster growing plants and animals

. Food with more desirable traits, such as potatoes that produce less of a cancer-causing substance when fried

. Medicinal foods that could be used as vaccines or other medicines
