I dedicate this book to all the young boys and girls, that every person should be educated about menstruation and how the body changes. Menstrual education should not only be targeted for girls alone but boys as well. Girls should not shy away when they have periods, but ask help because it is normal.

"Normalize Periods"

This is a book about a shy girl named Thandeka. She has her first period while in class and is ashamed to tell anyone about it. This is until a classmate of hers name Miles tells her all about his experience with his sister having her periods and assures her that all is well. Thank you so much! So many people in my class make fun of periods, or are disgusted or scared by them. Others make fun of people who don't have their periods yet. I honestly think this is wrong and I would try to talk some sense into them but I'm too shy. So maybe I will just show them this book! Thank you!
