This is the story of Juan and how he managed to be a resilient person.

When Juan was 14 years old he was a very shy, quiet and slightly depressed person. 

Juan was easily distracted, he gave up if he saw difficulties in his homework or simply did not have the necessary motivation and did not dedicate himself to studying.

Juan had depression because he missed his parents a lot who work in another country.

Over time, Juan became so bad to the point where he began to lower his academic performance.

Juan didn't do his homework and didn't study for his day-to-day lessons, he advanced to the next year with the minimum score.

I feel so bad 

Entering the next school year, his performance was still below normal.

Until one day, his English teacher noticed that Juan looked discouraged and sad, that day his teacher approached him and kindly asked him how he felt.

Juan didn't answer anything, but the teacher wasn't going to give up. So in the next few days little by little he got closer to Juan.

Little by little, the teacher was giving him advice on life, motivating him to continue and was always there to listen to his thoughts. In this way Juan was feeling better

Several weeks passed and Juan no longer felt depressed, he was happier and motivated to continue learning.
