Hey everyone!
I know you can't see me right now, but I am up in the clouds!
That's right, I am a little rain drop that has formed in the clouds through evaporation and condensation. I want to take you on my journey! Want to follow along?

When condensation happens and the water droplets combine with other, bigger droplets, and the clouds get too heavy, then I fall from the sky!
This is called precipitation, or rain.

Sometimes I fall on a plant...

Sometimes I fall in the ocean...

And sometimes I just fall onto the ground.

When I fall on a plant, I am able to return to the clouds through a process called transpiration. This is when water molecules exit living plants and return to the atmosphere.
