As he walks down these halls full of peers,
He tries to ignore all his thoughts and fears,
Give him any grief and he just might blow,
Rage and violence is all this kid knows,
Finding where he fits in is the hardest task,
He’s broke and angry and he hates it when you ask.

Finally gets a friend and talked for hours,
Feeling so smooth like he’s got magical powers,
Never felt happier to have trust with her,
But David’s rage got in the way of what they were,
Jealousy overtook David’s mind and he wondered why he was so
blind,
He also wondered what happened to the David that was so kind.

So David went back to Jennifer's place,
They kissed and made up, and had to to embrace,
Jennifer told David “No, you’re not a disgrace.”
As he looked up all he could see is her beautiful face,
He finally found love in a hopeless place,
This was a love that nobody could replace.

David now walking back into the long white halls,
He’s trying to go to class but suddenly is stalled,
Bully 12 o’clock better scream out a call,
David starts to size up, but let’s face it, he just too small,
Looks like he going into an all out brawl,
No matter how much war David had in his heart, his army
was bound to fall.

Now in the Principals office for the 100th time,
Everyone staring at his black eye like hes the one
who did the crime,
The girls looking him up and down like he’s nasty
grime,
Mr. Principal yells and makes him feel worth less
than a dime,
David realizes he’s definitely not at his prime,
Its time to find the ladder of change and start to
climb.
