-Dedicated to my sister who wants to become an author when she grows up and my other sister who always wants me to read to her when I tell her to go to bed. Also to Mr. Harrington who doesn't let me sleep in his class.

Once upon a time, there was a snotty rich boy named Ryan who used to force peasants in France to buy his pencils in exchange for erasers.
Hey you peasant boy. Buy my pencils or I'll call my father!!
Ugh, him again

The soldiers said we can't trade with people from England anymore
WHY NOT, SINCE WHEN!!
*sigh* since they passed Navigation Acts

On his way back home, Ryan wondered why his father hadn't told him about the new laws that were put in place.

Why didn't father tell me? Now I embarrassed myself.

As he was approaching the door he heard his father's voice coming from inside
WHAATT. YOU DID WHAAAT!!
WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT DOING STUFF ON YOUR OWN

Sorry, I was talking to your greedy Aunt that lives in the Appalachian mountains. She started a fight with some french and Native American people over the Ohio River Valley.
What happened father, why were you screaming?

Seven years later the fight Ryan's Aunt started with the French and Indians had ended.
Any updates father?
Yup, the king just passed the rule that doesn't let the groups in the Appalachian leave their territory.
Aunty doesn't like that, does she?
NOPE. LOL!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Meanwhile back in a village in the Appalachian Mountains, Some new rules were being announced

SUGAR ACT
- You can only buy sugar from Britain
- No bringing in other things from other places
Stamp ACT
- All people must pay tax on all paper items
-Must put a stamp on your paper to prove you paid the tax

1st Quartering Act
- We will put a soldier in every Boston home
-There will be no prisoners
Stamp Act Congress
- Colonists are equal to British citizens
-The colonists will have a person to speak for them in the Congress

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! I just received news that the last rule (Stamp Act Congress) has been rejected. The government can make laws that you colonists have to follow whatsoever.

Hey father, did you hear about the Townshend Act?
Meanwhile back at Ryan's house, Ryan and his father were talking about the new law that increased taxes for the citizens so the King could pay the workers that worked for him more to keep them loyal.
Yup, they already got me paying a bunch of taxes.
HAAA! Maybe I should've been a judge working for the King!

Ryan, guess who just called?
Who?
Your aunt who's been causing trouble for the last 4 years. The King canceled the Townshend Act because they weren't buying things from them.
4 years later and a new law was put in place
Really!
Yup!. your aunt's still mad though because the King kept the tea tax.
Back in Boston, the soldiers that were patrolling the area killed 5 unarmed Bostonians. This angered Ryan's aunt and all the other people that lived in the Appalachian mountains. They called it the Boston Massacre.
