Today for writing we will be focusing on setting goals and the steps we can take to work toward those goals. 

I want everyone to think of three goals for 4th grade. 

Um, excuse me Miss Klein. What are goals?

Great question! Setting goals are something that you want to improve on in your life, or in this case school. 

Everyone, please take out your notebooks and pencil and write down three things you want to improve on from last year in school. 

1. Think of three things you struggled with in 3rd grade. 

2. Write down what your goals are.

3. Add how you will achieve those goals.
