Tides

One affect of climate change is the melting of glaciers. As the glaciers melt the tides carry the extra water all over the world and in turn sea levels everywhere will rise. The rising of sea levels makes the issue on the next page even more dangerous
Tsunami's

Many coastal areas are already in danger of tsunami's but if the sea levels rise they will be in even more trouble than they can imagine. Cities could potentially be levelled if we don't get ahead of this issue.
Red Tides

Climate change causes increased rainfalls which in turn pump nutrients that the algal blooms behind red tides thrive upon. The same tides that carry water that causes the sea level to rise also carry red tides to shore.
Ocean Warming
Climate change raises the temperature in the atmosphere which in turn raises the temperature in the ocean. Higher ocean temperatures are partly responsible for a lot of the issues our ocean faces like fish deaths.

Dead Zones
Much like red tides, dead zones are caused by algal blooms. Algal blooms receive many of their necessary nutrients as a result of the increased rainfalls due to climate change.

Hurricanes
Climate change increases the danger levels of hurricanes every year. It increases their intensity but also slows down the rate at which they move meaning they hit harder and stay longer.

Ocean Currents
The water that results from melting glaciers can displace currents. Increased winds and longer lasting hurricanes may also have an affect on currents,

Ocean Acidification
Climate change releases a lot of carbon dioxide into the ocean. Roughly 1/4th of that carbon dioxide is absorbed by the ocean in turn raising the levels of acidification.

Offshore Drilling
Climate change doesn't affect offshore drilling as much as offshore drilling affects climate change. Offshore drilling releases a lot of greenhouse gases that are responsible for a lot of the issues climate change causes.
