     Our inspirational musician is THE WEEKND

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, most known as the Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. Born in Toronto on February 16, 1990. 

His music explores themes of romance and melancholy, and is often inspired by personal experiences.

A fun fact about this artist is that as a kid, he learned Amharic before English, still speaking it to this day, wich perhaps ties with another fun fact, he does crossword puzzles to increase his vocabulary!

So, you might be wondering why we choose The Weeknd, well, it was mainly because of his amazing vocal abilities, that u can hear in songs like “Valerie”,in the latter half of the song, around 2:50, when he ends up holding the note "Oh Valerie", it's so haunting and beautiful. No doubt, one of his best vocal performances.

But also, we really identifie ourselfs with his variety of songs, and with the romantic and melancholyc lyrics.
