One day Jack and Annie find the Magic Tree House in the forest behind their house. They climbed into the treehouse and found a note. On the note, it said that Jack and Annie had to travel to Africa to find a missing book of folktales.

The treehouse teleported Jack and Annie to a beach. "Where are we," asked Jack. "I don't know," replied Annie.
Annie looked around and saw camels. "Jack, look there are camels! Maybe the boy by the camels can help us," exclaimed Annie.

"Greetings! I see Morgan Le Fey sent you. My name is Leo. You will need my camels for your journey. Welcome to Cape Town," said the boy.
Jack and Annie looked at each other. They noticed the peaceful ocean to the west and a busy city to the east.
"There are many challenges ahead on your journey. Take my camels and go northeast to Johannesburg. There you will recieve your next message."
Jack and Annie hopped on the camels and left for Johannesburg. Along their journey through the Kalahari Desert, the wind began to pick up and sand started blowing. Jack and Annie were stuck in the sandstorm!
"Annie, pull up your cloak and stay close," cried out Jack.
Annie did as she told and stayed close to Jack as best as she could. The sandstorm lasted all day. After it felt like weeks crossing the desert, Jack and Annie arrived to Johannesburg.
"We're here," called out Annie. Jack and Annie saw the large city in front of them. They entered the city and were amazed of all the tall buildings. "How do we know what we are looking for," asked Jack. The siblings continued walking through the city. A small girl greeted Jack and Annie. She gave them a letter. The letter told Jack and Annie to head to Harare, Zimbabwe by following the Zambezi River.
Jack and Annie followed the river and were stopped by a farmer. The farmer asked Jack and Annie to help save his herds from the tigers. Jack pulled out his notebook and brainstormed. He showed Annie and the farmer the plans. The farmer and Annie built a fence that the tigers couldn't jump over it. The farmer was grateful for the help and gave a message to the siblings. There were injured animals in trouble in Lilongwe, Mali and it was up to Jack and Annie to help.
Jack and Annie headed to their destination. There on the outside of the city was the wildlife sanctuary they were told to go. They listened to the staff and helped the best they could.
One of the staff members revealed to Jack and Annie that they needed to cross the Great Rift Valley to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to a small marketplace. That is where the book is.
