Pediatricians provide care from birth to 

early adulthood. They are concerned with 

the health of infants, children and 

teenagers. Most of the work of 

pediatricians involves treating day-to-day 

illnesses that are common to children. 

To become a Pediatrician I went to 

school for 4 years of college, 4 years of 

medical school, 3 years of residency 

and that totaled 11 years of education.

A typical day involves having patients in 

and out of the clinic. I am going room to 

room taking care of my patients and 

writing prescriptions for them. After 

hours I relax and go out with friends.

I work in a clinic with 3 other pediatricians. 

There are 10 rooms and 4 offices in the clinic. 

Each room has a character theme. For 

example Clifford, Mickey Mouse, Blues Clues, 

etc..
