In 2005 Rihanna auditioned for an American record producer who invited her to the United States to record music. She then released two albums called Music of the Sun and A Girl Like Me. Both albums were in the top ten of the US Billboard 200 chart.
Her singing career took off! As of 2023 she has released 8 albums in total. She is the second best selling female singer.
Rihanna has won 9 Grammys, 13 American Music Awards, and 12 Billboard Music Awards during her career as a singer.
In 2017, Rihanna launched her own makeup brand named after herself. It is called Fenty Beauty
