Timmy
Caramia
Caramia was a 4-year-old girl who had trouble making friends, so she made her own. Caramia had an imaginary friend named Timmy. To everyone else Timmy wasn’t there, but for Caramia Timmy was real.

Caramia and Timmy spent every day together. They would eat together, play together, go to school together; everywhere Caramia went Timmy did too.

One summer day Caramia’s mom and dad decided to take her to the park. Caramia was very excited. She planned on playing on the swings with Timmy, in the sandbox, and going down the slide with him. But as Caramia walked toward the door her dad stopped her.

“Caramia could you do something for me today while at the park?” her dad asked. “Yes, what is it?” Caramia wondered aloud. “Could you try and play with another kid at the park today?” “I could,” Caramia said hesitantly.

“But what about Timmy?” “What if he feels left out?” Asked Caramia to her dad. “You do everything with Timmy I think he would be fine with you playing with someone else for a day.” Caramia’s mom chimed in. “I’ll try my best,” Caramia said with a smile, and with that they were off.

Once they got to the park Caramia ran to the swings with her parents. She made sure she got a swing that allowed Timmy to sit and swing next to her. As her father pushed her on the swing her mother pushed the empty swing next to Caramia that Timmy was sitting on.

Time passed and Caramia decided to go play in the sandbox with Timmy. There were sand toys scattered around so Caramia decided to make a sand castle. As she built, she and Timmy brainstormed the design with each other. “Who are you talking to?” said a little voice from behind Caramia.

“My friend, his name is Timmy,” said Caramia while turning to face the voice. “Well, I don’t see a Timmy.” The voice was from a little girl who was the same age as Caramia. “Well, not many people can see him, only me my mom, and my dad can really see him,” Caramia stated. “Ohh I see, he’s imaginary!” The little girl exclaimed.”I have a great imagination.” “I bet I can see him too if I really tried,” said the little girl while sitting down next to Caramia.
