(Exposition) The chief, going by the name of Skyjay, sat in his own fiery throne of the meeting room. With a loud roar that was heard by all the fellow beasts when they entered the room, he yelled, "All of us know there's only one reason why we are here. We have been fighting a losing war against the Agua tribe because fire can't hurt them. We can't defeat them just by luck."
The beasts weren't pleased by their chief's words even though they knew he was right. One of them asked, "So are we saying we should just give up?"
"We, the Fuerza tribe, have never given up a single time! I have a master plan we can use to beat them once and for all! We will use a big cage to trap our enemies by tricking them into following us," the chief roared. The members roared back in agreement as they knew that they had to outsmart the Agua tribe in order to win.
"In order for the trap to work, I will lure them into our homeland by making them think we want to fight. I will choose one worthy beast amongst us all to turn on the trap."

With his sharp claws, Skyjay pointed at one beast in the crowd as they walked up to the throne. "Tarik, I give you the most important job of the Fuerza tribe. You will get a signal that will tell you when to activate the cage. Only when I tell you to."
"I am honored to be given this job. I will not fail you, chief," Tarik said proudly. The fellow beasts also roared with approval as they accepted him as the most worthy one to handle the job.
"So be it. I will travel to the Agua tribe's homeland to trick them into following me back to us. Wait for me as I leave at once. Remember, the Fuerza tribe never gives up!" Skyjay responded.
The tribe cheered for their chief as he left immediately to the homeland of their nemesis.

(Rising action) Skyjay used his powers to launch himself up into the air like a rocket. He flew so high up in the air that he immediately landed on the land of the Agua tribe. Blue savage beasts saw him instantly from a tower. An army of the Agua beasts slowly walked up to Skyjay, ready to fight him. The leader walked up to him and asked, "You have no permission to be here, chief of the Fuerza tribe. Leave now or we will attack you. You cannot win."
"I only came here to tell you that we won't give up even if the odds are against us," Skyjay confidently responded.
"Then, we are going to battle once again. Soldiers, do not let the enemy chief get away! Chase him and capture him!" the chief of the Agua tribe commanded.
Skyjay laughed as he flew up into the air. The Agua chief and his soldiers did the same as they chased Skyjay until they arrived at his homeland. There, Skyjay landed back on the ground. "Well, I think I used up all of my energy."

Just as of right now, a cage immediately fell down from a volcano as it trapped the Agua beasts along with Skyjay. Tarik was at the top of the volcano as he jumped down near the cage. "I finally have the Agua and Fuerza chief trapped at my hands! Skyjay, they didn't fall for your trap. You fell for mine!" Tarik laughed with pleasure.
"This is a mistake. You think to betray me behind my back?" Skyjay asked in surprise.
"I never wanted you as chief to began with. I worked harder than you, yet you became chief anyway! I'm tired of seeing you get all the praise while I get nothing! Now, I will finally get what I want and the beasts will see me as their true leader!" Tarik growled in excitement.

"You are a traitor to the Fuerza tribe! I gave you one important job and you turned against me! You will not be chief for long!" Skyjay angrily cried out.
"Your words mean nothing to me. I will leave all of you here for the volcano erupt. This will be the end of your rule!" Tarik laughed in an evil voice. He ran away from the cage as the Agua beasts panicked.
"We can't use water to break the cage! Not even our claws can help! Oh no, we are stuck here forever!" the soldiers screamed.
"Wow, you guys give up way too easily. I can get everyone out of this cage, just watch." Skyjay mocked. His hands released a large flame as he melted the iron bars of the cage. He then got out without any effort. "Totally impossible to escape, am I right? Let's get out of here before the volcano erupts!"
Despite being enemies, they followed Skyjay's orders as they ran back to the Agua tribe territory.

As Skyjay and the rest of the Agua beasts rested, the other chief walked up to Skyjay and asked, "Your right-hand man has betrayed you and you aren't in charge anymore. We couldn't have escaped without you, but you are still our enemy."
"Fighting you is the last thing I want. My enemy right now is Tarik, not the Agua tribe. It seems like the best choice for both of us is to be allies. I need help to take back my place as chief, can you help me?" Skyjay admitted.
"I always thought of the Fuerza to be savage, but you seem to be quite smart. If we team up together, then we can overthrow Tarik and become united! Just like the old times, eh?" the Agua chief answered.
"By being united, we can finally end the fighting! So be it. We will work together to finish this once and for all! But first, I've never asked for you name. Tell me what is it," Skyjay said.
"I am Armadillo, chief of the Agua tribe. And I will help Skyjay, former chief of the Fuerza tribe, to reunite the two tribes together and end this!" Armadillo announced.

Skyjay and Armadillo told the beasts of the Agua tribe that they had a plan to defeat the Fuerza tribe and join together to become one. Longing for the war to end, they roared with approval as Skyjay and Armadillo worked together to make a plan to attack the Fuerza tribe. But first, Skyjay wanted to learn more about the beliefs of the Agua tribe. Noticing that they were quite different compared to how the Fuerza beasts lived, he had to understand how they managed to change their powers and become their own tribe. With curiousity, Skyjay asked Armadillo, "I am eager to know how your kind has lived compared to the fire beasts."
"After we were forced to leave the original tribe, we knew that we should never be as cruel as the fire beasts. Your kind was always the first one to start a fight, and we had no choice but to defend ourselves. Even when we beat them every single time, we always believed that we would be one tribe again. Unlike the Fuerza tribe, we treated each other with love and always thought of one another as equal," Armadillo answered (Smith 213).

"Besides, it is a main belief in the Agua tribe that whenever one of us does something bad, we give them a punishment. It's what they need to find out what they did was wrong, but it also teaches them to be better," Armadillo sighed ("Christianity").
Skyjay was surprised by how kind the water beasts were to each other. "That is so different compared to what the my tribe does when a beast messes up. We usually banish them to the volcano forever."
Armadillo wasn't surprised by this at all. "Our punishments have never crossed that line. Anyways, we did water rituals in order to get the powers we have today from our God. They also make sure that the water beasts would be forgiven for the bad things they've done (Denova). We are masters of water as you are a master of fire."
Skyjay felt like he was back at school. Armadillo continued to talk about how the water beasts never punished people based on how bad their crimes were, but rather on if what they did was right or wrong (Lee 94).
