(Exposition)
Little Johnny once had a doggie named Pebbles. Little Johnny loved Pebbles so much that he would spend all day playing with her!

Little Johnny and Pebbles played here, they played there, they played everywhere! They played at the park, they even played in the dark, they played with love and care.

(conflict introduced)
But one day, Little Johnny could not find Pebbles anywhere! No matter where he looked, in the shed, under the bed, he finally asked his parents where she was.

Daddy! Daddy! Pebbles is gone! Where is she??

(conflict introduced)
Little Johnny's Dad took Little Johnnie into the other room to tell him what happened to Pebbles.

I am sorry Little Johnny... But Pebbles now lives in a better place...

But I love Pebbles so much! She can't be gone!

(Rising Action 1)
Little Johnny's dad is a Christian. That means that he believes in the religion Christianity and in God (Slabbert). Christians that tell God their mistakes get to go to heaven (Chismar).

Well Little Johnny, my religion is Christianity. God says that all creatures are welcome to his kingdom called heaven (Winter). So Pebbles isn't truly gone.
Really? Will I ever get to see Pebbles again?

(Rising Action 1)
In Christianity, God says that people and animals that go to heaven still live inside us through our hearts and memories ("Offering Masses"). Little Johnny knows this but he is still sad about losing his best friend.

Pebble's love lives in our hearts, even if you can't see her.
But I still miss her so much.

(Rising Action 2)
Little Johnny's mom is a Buddhist. This means that she follows a religion called Buddhism. Unlike Christianity, Buddhists don't believe in any god (Tai-Seale). Buddhists believe in the life cycle (Dehejia).

During that night...

Well honey, I think Pebbles was reincarnated.
Mommy? Did Pebbles go away?

(Rising Action 2)
Little Johnny was confused on what reincarnation and the life cycle was. These two things are the same. The life cycle and reincarnation means that when someone passes away, their soul is born again into another body (Bloom).

Reincarnation means that Pebbles was born again and has a new life.
What is reincarnation?

(Rising Action 2)
Little Johnny wondered how Pebbles' new life would be. But then, Mommy explained that since Pebbles was a good dog, Pebbles will go on to have a good life. This is called Karma (Barborich).

That depends on Karma honey. But since Pebbles was a good dog, she will have good Karma to be reborn as a dog again.
Will Pebbles be reborn as a dog?

(Rising Action 2)
Little Johnny decided to go to bed since he was sleepy. But he kept on thinking about Pebbles and where she could be. Before he went to sleep, Little Johnny thought about all his great memories with Pebbles...There was no way she could really be gone...

(Rising Action 3)
After waking up, Little Johnny walked into his living room and saw his uncle Jerry. He had not seen him in a while and decided to ask him what he thought happened to Pebbles.

Hi Uncle Jerry. Where do you think Pebbles is?

(Rising Action 3)
Little Johnny's uncle follows a Primal religion of the Australian Aborigines, native people of Australia. Primal religions are some of the first ever religions that were created, so he believes in different things than Mommy and Daddy.

He's definitely in the Dreaming with his ancestors from many generations ago (Ahmad).
