Dedicated to all the brave, independent, and strong youth who are on a journey of self-discovery

The young princess Merida goes on a journey of self-discovery. As she grows up she is taught all the rules and responsibilities of becoming queen.
Merida, though, preferred to sneak away from the palace to practice her bow-and-arrow skills. She has great archery skills.

One day, the arrival of three clans was announced by the queen. In order to compete for Merida's hand in marriage, each would present a suitor.

The suitors showed up as expected, much to Merida's disappointment. She waited on her throne as the archery competition the suitors had to perform to impress her was about to begin. Merida knew that she could use a bow and arrow much more deftly than the potential suitors!

Merida entered the arena after the suitors had fired their shots while ignoring the queen's cries for her to stop. She fired her arrows and hit each target dead center. She had won! Now she wouldn't have to marry anyone!

Queen Elinor was upset with Merida for destroying the competition. She warned her that things have to be right.
Merida then cut the tapestry that represented her family and ran away.

Merida ended up running towards the forest where she found a witch. Merida begged her to change her mother. The Witch gave Merida a spell cake.

Merida gave her mother the cake when she got back to the palace. Not knowing what kind of spell the witch put on the cake. The cake ended up turning her mother into a bear

Merida snuck her mother out of the palace because she was worried anyone will see her.
She decided to take her mom back to the Witch's cottage. When arriving Merida and Elinor-Bear discovered only a message reading, "Fate be changed, look inside, mend the bond torn by pride."
