Once upon a time, there was a woman named Juliette who had always been passionate about helping others. She knew that she wanted to make a difference in the world but wasn't sure exactly how. She was working for a company posing as a charity whose values, didn’t a line with her own. Every day she would finish work feeling over worked, underappreciated and depressed. After spending what felt like a lifetime working in such a toxic environment, she decided enough was enough.

I need a new job
One day, as she was browsing through her emails, she stumbled upon an email from a recruitment company. She found this strange as she hadn’t started applying for new roles yet but decided to pursue the opportunity none the less.

Come and work for Firebrand Training!
After contacting the recruitment company to gain more information about the role, she discovered the role was for a Success coach with a company called Firebrand training – a company that specialised in providing accelerated training programs for various IT certifications.
As she looked through the job description, Juliette realized that this was exactly what she had been searching for. She had always been interested in technology and was thrilled at the prospect of not only helping people achieve their certification goals but also empowering them to take control of their futures.

Sounds perfect!
Juliette applied for the job. After two of the most relaxed and friendly interviews she had ever had, she was overjoyed a few days later when she checked her emails to see she had been offered the job. She spent the next couple of weeks preparing for her first day, until finally it was here. On the hottest day of the year, she nervously drove to Wyboston with the unknown looming over her. What will her colleagues be like? Will she be stuck with the micro-est of managers? What will they serve for lunch?

I hope I'm not late!
Juliette arrived early and went to reception to be greeting with a friendly smile. After being told to help herself to refreshments she sat and waited. Not for long however as a few moments later a lady walked in with energy they lit up the room. Juliette recognised her instantly as the same lady to interviewed her. Jade, Juliette’s new manager gave her the warmest of welcomes and instantly made her feel at ease. A short while later they were joined by Martin, the operations manager to discuss training. She then spent the day learning all the different procedures, bootcamps, getting up to date with the latest certification programs and learning about Firebrand's unique approach to accelerated learning.

Where is the reception?
Despite the warm welcome from her new colleagues, she couldn’t help but feel anxious. Her intrusive thoughts were getting louder. ‘This is exactly how is started last time’ she would think to herself. ‘What if this company turns out to be toxic too?’. At this point she realises she has some, work based trust issues she needs to deal with. But how??

I hope it's not like the last place
Finally, it was time for Juliette to start her new job as a Success Coach. She was nervous but excited to begin helping people reach their full potential. On her first day, meeting her learners she found them eager to learn. But Juliette was struggling. She wanted to ask for help but the bad experiences with such an act in her last job role consumed her and she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Soon she realised she had to ask for help. If she didn’t, she would be letting down herself but more importantly her learners and her team.

I don't know how to help them.
