In our school  we created three sustainable hubs. One roof garden, one balcony garden with vegetables and one garden with herbs. Our children come in touch with the natural environment around us , near to Mediterranean. They learned how to create from nature, respect it for the goods which it provides and to be grateful for our green surroundings. "Let's do our school green" is our moto.

This activity was inspired by the Global Goal n.5 of 2030 Agenda “Gender Equity”, and was aimed to bring to the attention of our students the life and achievements of some female characters in the international scene: from Frida Kahlo to Margherita Hack, from Coco Chanel, Malala. For this activity several innovative approaches were combined. Inquiry based learning was used to carry out research on the chosen characters, Story Telling to explain their role and legacy, Tinkering for the creation of the artwork and it exhibition space.
